Biographical Information

Based in the countryside west of Detroit, Andy Sacks began shooting professionally for newspaper and magazine clients in the seventies. He has contributed coverage of the auto industry to all the major news and business magazines and documented the remarkable expansion of foreign manufacturers into the US market.

His years in photojournalism taught him how to research and develop coverage for his assignments, talk to strangers, and come back with the shots on time. These skills serve him well today with corporate and advertising clients.

In the eighties, Andy put his lifelong love of music on hold to stay home at night, and do the domestic thing with his wife Shari, and their three daughters. They remodeled an old farmhouse, and filled the barns with chickens, sheep, rabbits, and hogs.
