Biographical Information

Sam’s interest in and passion for photography was directed toward agricultural stock photography when he reached his mid 40s. Photographing agricultural subjects comes naturally to him given his farming background, his studies at an agricultural college, and his location within the agricultural heartland of Alberta. Although Sam has photographed a variety of different farm and ranch subjects, he has a particular love for photographing scenic agricultural landscapes and beef cattle grazing on Alberta’s diverse and picturesque rangelands.

When not working as a professional mediator and planner, or pursuing photography, Sam can be found in the high country, at the baseball diamond, or in his reading chair.
